Sign up for this class and you can learn how to make pierogi step by step.

Pierogi are known around the world as the national Polish dish, and we Poles proudly contribute to its popularity by making and consuming ungodly amounts of them. Bring Poland's cuisine into your kitchen.
What can you expect?
Learn how to make traditional pierogi dough
Polish pierogi dough is traditionally made vegan; it doesn’t have any dairy in it. It is just flour, water, and some salt. Very simple and economical, which was always very important in Polish cooking.
I find vegan pierogi dough quite delicate and fragile, so I actually prefer making it with the addition of an egg as shown in this recipe. It makes the dough a bit denser, but I found that I have fewer pierogi that "blow up" while boiling. The dumplings tend to stay a bit more solid.
make pierogi with 2 different fillings
There are many varieties of pierogi fillings: potato and cheese (Russian pierogi), meat, cabbage and mushrooms, just mushrooms, fruit-filled, and on and on. We'll be making potato and cheese filled pierogi as well as blueberry-filled pierogi.
What do I have to prepare before class
You only have to boil some potatoes ahead of time, since they have to cool down before we make the filling together.
I want to join. How does it work?

“I took the pierogi cooking class and it was awesome! Starting from scratch, I learned how to make the filling and the dough, and how to form and cook the pierogi too. We got the recipes for all of the components so that we can make it again at home. And let me tell you… it is DELICIOUS! Angela made the process so fun! If I can learn how to do this, anyone can! Thank you for an awesome experience!”

Hi there,
I am Angela
Growing up in Poland and Germany, I always had a passion for cooking and baking. I immersed myself in the kitchen - cooking meals with family members, learning to create authentic European dishes, and perfecting my own unique recipes.
In 2010, my family and I moved to Upstate New York in the United States. After arriving here, I worked in the restaurant industry for several years, gaining valuable experience as a manager, including helping to coordinate food for large events.
After a while, I felt the strong desire to help others in a whole new way. Combining my years of experience in occupational therapy and the restaurant industry, with my passion for cooking and baking. Many families I've met here over the years were missing quality family time in the kitchen. They wanted to make cooking together a part of their lives but felt intimidated by cooking or stressed by lack of time.
That's why I founded Foodpoint - to help families create memories in the kitchen, and help kids develop a healthy relationship with food.
My philosophy: It's not about what you're making as much as the fact that you're creating something together.
